PERINE activity at INDIRE has centred on:
  • Article titled 'I ricercatori si interrogano sul loro rapporto con Internet' written by Marisa Trigari, published in the educational review 'Scuola e Cittą' (A comparative analysis of statistical data from the PERINE questionnaire);
  • Survey on the Internet in order to gather relevant web sites for the PERINE database;
  • Editing of new documentary records;
  • Input of new documentary records;

NEW! Acquisition of the collection 'Giuseppe e Lucio Lombardo Radice' into the INDIRE fond. It deals with non-book material composed by unpublished letters, photos, manuscripts by the two famous pedagogues. When catalogued, the collection will be a valuable fond for researchers interested in the twenty century Italian pedagogy.

NEW! Within Celebrate, a 2-day workshop on Learning Objects was held, with the expertise of Digitalbrain (Celebrate partner and LOs producer). The workshop has given the opportunity for a discussion on the much-discussed question of the classification of LOs.
NEW! A new experimental project, funded by INDIRE, concerning 30 schools and dealing with remedial teaching was launched in January 2002. Teachers have been asked to produce and test their Learning Objects, made in the perspective of using them with the pupils needing remedial teaching. According to their learning styles, pupils are encouraged to use these LOs. At present, the project concerns the upper secondary (I level) and is about five different subjects taught at school.
