The research group formed in 1997 in Florence and designed an initial research Project which in 1998 developed into an in-depth theoretical Reflection. In 1999 the group worked on a CD-ROM inspired by the Gardnerian Theory on multiple intelligence: Pinocchio learns to learn. When the CD was about to be published, in December 2000, the group created a “Round Table” on the Leonardo Project 2001:
